Fun stuff!!

Yah i finally got to order the crib Bed set for the crib! It took me 8 months to pick out the  perfect one that i just loved! We both wanted something fun and bright and I was really wanting polka dots which actually wasnt an easy combination when u got a budget!  I found it at wal mart of all places! It should be getting here friday, i hope! Ive been so anxious to decorate her room but its kinda been on the bottom of the list of things to get done for the house in order to move in.... So it wont get done until she's here already but that's ok! She wont even know! The other pic is the way i want to paint her room but of course the colors will be different...they will match the bed set! Cant wait to post pics of when its done!

Instead of the brown half circles that are painted on to seperate the top and bottom we will prob just do trim.

Scary Doctor Appointment

Well I have to say that there is nothing more stressful than a doctor appointment that surprises you! My appointment on Wed was not what I was expecting! In fact I was sure he was going to tell me i was dialated some because of the nonstop braxton hicks ive been having! Instead he said I was still measuring really small and so he wanted to do an unltrasound to make sure everything was ok and that my measurements weren't just becuase she had dropped! Then he continues to tell me that if its not just because she has dropped that he might want to take her early! So like a zombie I go over to get my ultrasound wondering 100 different things in my head! of course they couldnt get me in till friday and i went home a little confused and not sure if I should be worried or not! Apparantly the doctor called over to radiology to see what was going on because he had wanted to the ultrasound done that day! well so i got a call from radiology and they reschedueled me for thursday morning. Desipite our anxieties it was fun to have an ultrasound and she Jersie! She def looked a lot more like a baby than 10 weeks ago when we had one done! Of course we had no idea if everything looked good the lady just did measurements and sent them to cedar for the radiology guy to read and send the results back to doc. miller! I was so relieved when I got a call from our doctor later that day to tell me that everything looked really good that she was really small about the size she should have been two weeks ago but he wasnt worried enough to take her early. He said she was about 17th percentile! Pretty little! but we are both so glad to know that she is ok! I do only have 16 days left! Dr. miller doesnt think i will be able to make it to the 20th so we will see! Hopefully i can keep her in there little longer as anxious as i am to see her! We are just so glad that everything looked good! i dont have a scanner and so i took a pic of my ultrasound so its really hard to tell what you are looking at!

Baby update and baby showers!

We have been so fortunate to have so many wonderful people in our lives that has helped us get ready for our little Baby to come! We have had three baby showers and all of the gifts will help us out so much!!! The girls i worked with at Fantastic Sams gave me a shower up in Orem. It was fun to get to see them all again!

The last week in February the walter girls gave me a shower! Brooke, Erin and Beth all did a wonderful job and they are so awesome!! Of couse we had been having beautiful weather...in fact we hardly had any snow and of course it decides to be this terrible snow storm the day of the shower! We had a wonderful turn out though and it was great fun! The theme was Nursery Rhymes! We played some fun games and had a patatoe bar for lunch! It was really fun and I got a lot of fun things!!! Thanks everyone!!

Then the next weekend my family had a baby shower for me and it was so much fun to get to see them all and spend time with them!! I love my sisters and their families and I am just so greatful for them and everything they do for me. I got lots of fun things and Denise Annette and Ephra all went in and bought us a stroller!! It is so cute and I love it!

My neice tera gave me my car seat cover that turned out awesome!!! Her mom made it and she did a wonderful job!

I have a friend that makes and sell these diaper bags! I love it, its so cute she did a great job!

Sara did an amazing job on these adorable cupcakes!! they were yummy to!

There are so many pics and so I just put on some of my favorites! We cant wait for our little girl to get here!!! The last few days Ive had lots of contractions and Doc said he would be really surprised if i made it to the 20th so we will see Ive got an appointment tomorrow with him! Ill keep everyone updated! Joel has been so cute the last little while I never imagined that he would be so excited! He wants to see his little Jersie girl so bad He is way excited! It makes me so happy. I am also very excited but i just am hoping she stays in a little longer, just until my mom and dad get here on the 21st! I want them to be here so bad but when she is ready she will come and we will be excited!

After Pics I got to do Jaisha's hair for her Junior Prom!!! We were a little short on time so i had a few helpers!! Kayla and Brittney did Jaisha's makeup!! And I put chaley to work on curling!! It turned out amazing and she looked gorgeous!!! Her dress was to die for and she had a cute date!! I think she had a wonder time! So glad I got to be a part of it!

House Update!

Well i decided it was time to do a little house update!!!! Its moving along...slowly it seems but still moving along... My mother in law and sisters in law all helped me sooooo much i dont know what i would do without them!!! We had cleaning day evey other day and cleaned walls and let me tell you it was disgusting!! It helped with smell a little but painting has really helped. At first we were only going to paint the kitchen because painting the whole house wasn't in our budget but after cleaning it we realized that it NEEDED paint in every room before we moved in. Luckily Joel's parents had some left over paint from their house so we started painting the living room.   So My kitchen is being painted red! i love it but also wont lie am a little nervous! I love being bold  and doing different things but in the process i always worry about it. My white antique cabinets are almost done! Joel is doing a wonderful job! The last few evenings he's been at the house painting the kitchen so that he can put my cabinets in! We now have our counter tops which i LOVE!!! The addition is also getting close to being done!!! They moved one of the walls and redid the electrical in there and it is insulated!!!! Now they have a few plumbing things to do in there and then we can finally turn the water on!! Then we can patch all the holes in the sheet rock down stairs and move in!! still lots of little things but we've had so much help that its making it lots easier!

And my Appliances!!! YAH! I havent taken pics yet of my counter tops but I will! We also got the vanity and toilet for the downstairs bathroom! and Joel got the bead board and trim all painted for the kitchen ready to go in! The upstairs bathroom is finally all done!! Painted with new mirror and lights! We are still waiting for our other lights to get here. The bathroom downstairs has one coat of paint so its almost ready to get put together!! I will take more pics tonight! We are really hoping to get our stuff moved over this weekend! And keeping our fingers crossed that Our little girl doesnt decide to come early!

New House!!!!

Well an update on our house...we were suppose to close on the 7th but the bank needed one more week so we will be closing this friday...the 14th!! We are sooooo excited!!! We finally went over and got some pics while Joel was getting measurments in the kitchen. Every time we go over and look at it I just get so excited and a little overwhelmed at the same time....Lots and Lots to do! We are having to finish the kitchen...it doesnt have cabinets or anything... but i am excited because i get to pretty much pick out my whole kitchen which is kinda fun....second the guy added on to the house  that has the laundry room bathroom and closets... we will have to do sheet rock and tile....we will also be making part of the add-on a little salon for me which i am STOKED about!!! not going to be super huge or anything but im exited still....We also have to finish the siding. It is a blue vinal and we are tearing it down and putting up TNG siding (which is wood siding so cabiny looking.) It is going to totally change the look of the house and just fit in its beautiful surroundings even better! There's lots and lots of cleaning to do painting and carpet cleaning... and it is going to be hard because i wont be able to help Joel very much. I kinda feel bad because he HATES painting and well i LOVE painting haha and i cant even kinda help so that should be fun. He is awesome though and will be just fine! I am so glad he knows how to do all the work so it will be so much cheaper... The thing I am just so excited for is the baby room.... i am going to have so much fun decorting her room!! i just cant decide on what i want to do! I have a billion ideas and colors and just cant decide on one! I will post pics as we go room by room. This is definatly a very fun adventure for us and a wonderful way to start the new year!!! We are hoping to be all moved in by Febuary-maybe even sooner! I have a few pics ill post for now!

This is the add-on kinda hard to tell whats everything is so i just am doing one pic to show how much we have to finish on it but the is where the laundry room is another bathroom and pantry...i wanna squeeze the salon in here too....

And this is the house!!! Just picture it though without the blue vinyal and with TNG siding..going to be way pretty... We are way excited to start our new family and be in our new house...even though school was put on hold things just seem to be working out perfectly for us...for some reason this is where we are suppose to be at this time. Everyday we are just so thankful for the ways things are working out for us! Our baby girl will be here in 11 weeks!!!! Can ya beleive it!!! She is going to be here before we know it especially with so much going on!! And then my brother Elder Ephraim will be home!!! I just cant wait!
