Much needed update!

wow my last post was in april! and it is now Feb. 1st! I am quite sad actually that i havent been doing better at blogging because this was a huge year for us and so much has happened that i really wish now not that i had it all recorded. hmmm major bummer on my part but here goes for a new fresh start. I would say i am gonna do an update since last posting but seriously i dont even know where i would start! so here it goes! Our beautiful little princess is now 10 months old...wow 10 months! where has the time gone? i have seriously in a way been dreading the 10 month bday because it is a step closer to her turning 1! which really i just cant barely think of it! listen to me freaking out about my baby turing 1! i am never going to make it when she really starts getting big and goes to kintergarden and jr high and all those crazy big girl things that she is going to do.... guess i bettter just stick to one day at a time before i get all teary eyed..... just two weeks ago she decided that she was completly done with "army crawling" and now she is cruising all over the place just crawling like a champ! unfortunantly she decided to do this right after joel left for north dakota. And another huge milestone- Jerzie now has her first tooth! ya i know its crazy we didnt think she was going to ever get one in before her 1st birthday but Lo & behold she did. and of course that little stinker of a tooth has been making our last two weeks completely and totally unbearable. (to put it lightly) can i just say that the teething stage is most def. not my favorite thing in the world! Poor little girl has really had it rough with this first one so once it broke through the skin as of 2 days ago...life has been back to normal. i just wish that it could have waited till joel got home.... uggghhh what a week or should i say two weeks....
so yes i unfortunatly did say joel is in north dakota. that is one huge life changing experience that i must fill you in on. Joel took a new job. well actually the construction company did that quite frankly was not making it and they heard about the oil rig doing so good in ND and got a job up there driving water truck. Lets just say from the very begining its been a roller coaster that unfortunatly hasnt slowed down much. Everyone is up there, his dad, brother jaycen, brother-in-law scott and joel. they always have two people up there drivin for two weeks on then its two weeks off.... 2 weeks off is just the best thing ever BUT 2 weeks on is a living hell..literally. since we have been married this is probably the hardest thing we have ever had to do. it feels like one of those "if we can make it through this..we can make it through anything" situations. everyday i pray for a different job for joel and a new living situation. We have even tried to move up there but basically long story short everything is either taken or so ridulously expensive that its not looking promising... which should i say is a relief and a sad thing all at the same time. we have no desire to live in ND but really its better than being apart for so long. so hopefully soon things will start looking up :) i am trying to have a good attidude about life really i am. but i wont lie i struggle most days.....
so i have just 3 more days to go till he comes and i cannot wait! Jerzie is a wonderful baby and i love being a mommy but its sure hard to do it by yourself day in and day out. Especially because she is a non napper...has been since she was a newborn really. ive tried everything and im giving up on holding her for hours at a time several times a day. call me crazy but that got old a long long time ago.... so she is now a twenty min. napper that is if i can even lay her down. The nights started getting bad so we decided to stick it out and do the Cry it out method. i know what your thinking but sometimes you just have to try it and i am soooooooooooooo glad we did because now i have a baby that sleeps ALL night long in her crib and not next to me wanting to nurse every hour and a half. Really its been awesome! too bad nap time isnt so awesome! so this week after that tooth came in i decided taht if i lay her down and she wakes up she has to cry. and so far she hasnt once fallen back to sleep.... i am so desperate for this to work. It litterally consumes my whole life all i think all day ..."oh its almost nap time...oh crap its nap time ..i can do this... i can do this...." and so on. its a nightmare so ready for joel to be home so i can get a little help and get a break! but yes other than that life is pretty boring and just same ole thing here in the middle of no where! guess i gotta get out of this town ha one day. so thats the update for now. its a little long sorry but had lots to get off my chest sort to say. i am going to try to keep this updated on a regular basis. righting it out really helps relieve so stress :)
she is reading my favorite book when i was little. Goodnight moon
