New House!!!!

Well an update on our house...we were suppose to close on the 7th but the bank needed one more week so we will be closing this friday...the 14th!! We are sooooo excited!!! We finally went over and got some pics while Joel was getting measurments in the kitchen. Every time we go over and look at it I just get so excited and a little overwhelmed at the same time....Lots and Lots to do! We are having to finish the kitchen...it doesnt have cabinets or anything... but i am excited because i get to pretty much pick out my whole kitchen which is kinda fun....second the guy added on to the house  that has the laundry room bathroom and closets... we will have to do sheet rock and tile....we will also be making part of the add-on a little salon for me which i am STOKED about!!! not going to be super huge or anything but im exited still....We also have to finish the siding. It is a blue vinal and we are tearing it down and putting up TNG siding (which is wood siding so cabiny looking.) It is going to totally change the look of the house and just fit in its beautiful surroundings even better! There's lots and lots of cleaning to do painting and carpet cleaning... and it is going to be hard because i wont be able to help Joel very much. I kinda feel bad because he HATES painting and well i LOVE painting haha and i cant even kinda help so that should be fun. He is awesome though and will be just fine! I am so glad he knows how to do all the work so it will be so much cheaper... The thing I am just so excited for is the baby room.... i am going to have so much fun decorting her room!! i just cant decide on what i want to do! I have a billion ideas and colors and just cant decide on one! I will post pics as we go room by room. This is definatly a very fun adventure for us and a wonderful way to start the new year!!! We are hoping to be all moved in by Febuary-maybe even sooner! I have a few pics ill post for now!
This is the living room!
Joel taking measurments for the cabinets and all that good stuff...so this is the kitchen

This is the other side of the kitchen...the door takes you to the living room...
Main floor bathroom!

The two bedrooms on the main floor....will most likely be our room and Babies room

Two bedrooms upstairs! They are fun rooms

The downstairs.....this is like the little family room. There is a bathroom and a bedroom downstairs also...
downstairs bathroom!
i wont post a pic of the bedroom downstairs....just because its not to exciting really it is bigger then the rooms upstairs on the main floor.

This is the add-on kinda hard to tell whats everything is so i just am doing one pic to show how much we have to finish on it but the is where the laundry room is another bathroom and pantry...i wanna squeeze the salon in here too....

And this is the house!!! Just picture it though without the blue vinyal and with TNG siding..going to be way pretty... We are way excited to start our new family and be in our new house...even though school was put on hold things just seem to be working out perfectly for us...for some reason this is where we are suppose to be at this time. Everyday we are just so thankful for the ways things are working out for us! Our baby girl will be here in 11 weeks!!!! Can ya beleive it!!! She is going to be here before we know it especially with so much going on!! And then my brother Elder Ephraim will be home!!! I just cant wait!

Winter Wonderland!

Yah i got what i wanted for christmas! Joel gets me every year, he is so good at surpising me!!! I was pretty excited!! So now, when life slows down and we get moved into our house, i can sew my little heart out which i plan to do!!
This year was hard to know what to get Joel! He didn't give me any ideas.. i did know he wanted a gun safe and im so glad i found this one on sale because its a pretty nice one and the best part was he had no idea he was getting it!!! He did have to go downstairs to the fruit room to open it though...so when he was opening the empty box i wrapped on christmas morning i could tell he was a little bummed his main present was weightless untill he realized that it had a note to go downstairs and his "real" present was much better. :) very fun!!!

Well no snow for Christmas which was kinda sad but we got lots for New Years!!! Joel's brother jaycen got a snowmobile and Joel took it for a spin.... i decided since he had never driven one plus it was 9 degrees outside (no joke) i had better just watch... i would really like to go for a ride....a nice easy one of course because it looked like a lot of fun!!!!!

talking to jaycen.........

I brought Burkley in becuase she would have chased Joel but she watched him the whole time she wanted to go out there so bad!!!
Right after Christmas there was a heard of about 70 or so Elk just right out behind our house! It was so pretty cool and so beautiful outside!

Walter Christmas party!

Last night was the Walter Christmas Party! We had a blast. Tradition is the boys cook breakfast burrtios for us and they were very yummy! This year Brooke and Scott got to be Mary and Joseph with Jayden as baby jesus :) and the little boys were the wise men and shephards as jade read us the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. Afterwards we played this fun game... if you rolled doubles you got to answer a question about christmas and if you got it right you unwraped a layer of wrapping paper off the present. Joel unwrapped the last layer of wrapping paper and we won the board game monopoly. which was pretty exciting! Then we all exchanged gifts. It was a very fun Christmas party! Now i just can't beleive its Christmas Eve! And Joel is only working till noon so im excited to get to hang out with him all day!!!

Christmas!

I can't even beleive its almost Christmas! This year I am really having a hard time getting excited for Christmas...infact all i have been thinking is I can't wait for Christmas to be over! That is terrible i know but i am just terribly homesick this year. Mom and Dad will be all by themselves this year too and i just hate it. I am very excited though to get to talk to Ephraim. He said he would call me since i wasn't going to be home. I really hope I get to talk to him for a long time like last year. I am really missing him. Poor Joel, he has really helped me through this I am like balling all the time or on the verge of tears very easily. What would I do without him!!! I am trying really hard to get into the spirit of Christmas, some snow would definatly help that is for sure... But the rain today just made me feel right at home so I am very thankful for that. This December has been quite hectic especially with my new calling as 2nd counsler in the Primary. I have had sharing time this month and so ive been quite nervous and stressed for that. And we are also in the procces of buying a house! It is in Hatch and its suppose to close on the 7th but i had no idea how much there is to do when buying a house. We have been pre-approved for the loan and the appraisal has been done but i still feel like i can't celebrate until keys are in hand just because I know that something could come up and we might not get it...probably not but just in case im trying to control my excitement. But it is making the time go by fast!!!
im already almost 26 weeks along!!! I just can't beleive it. my weeks are just flying by. We are going to name our precious little girl Jersie :) we havent quite decided on a middle name yet so for now she's just Jersie Walter. But the closer i get the more excited I get. It is so fun too because she moves around so much and i feel her all the time and we can even see her move, which im my favorite thing :)  Joel and I try to picture what she looks like. It is so fun and I really can't wait to meet her and hopefully we will be in our house and all ready for her!! I am going in for another ultrasound this week to make sure she really is a girl. The nurse that did it said he was 100% sure it was a girl but he said i could come in for a complimentary ultrasound so of course we are!!! im excited to see her because its been 8 weeks since my last one and she is going to be lots bigger now!!! and she better be a little girl still or else my little boy will have girl clothes and girl blankets ha. well i have a few pics that we took for our christmas card so ill post them. I hope everyone has a very Merry Chirstmas and a Happy New Year!

catch up....again :)

I dont know how i got so far behind!!! Life has just been so busy i guess!!! So this blog is going to have just some updating in it.. so some stuff will be a little old. Lets see i guess i'll begin in October about my 18 mark Mom and dad came to utah for Chaley's wedding and it just happened to be perfect timing because i could do my ultrasound and find out what we were having!! And to my surprise it is a girl!!! Joel knew the whole time it was going to be a girl. I was quite excited and it was the most amazing thing to see her little heartbeat and she was quite active. She even gave us a little wave it was adorable. If it weren't for the fact that I had never in my life had to pee that bad i could have watched her all day. It was so special that mom and dad were able to be there as well as Joel's mom Jill. Everyone thought it was so fun to watch her.

That day mom, dad, and I went to Bryce Canyon. Unfortunantly Joel had to go back to work but it was so fun to go and of course it was beautiful. It was a really cold day so we didn't stay long.

The next day we went down to Manti for Chaley and Brocks wedding!! It was a beautiful wedding and we are very excited for them and so glad we could be a part of their special day. The Manti Temple is so Beautiful I had never been there before so it was fun.
The next day was a bitter sweet day because I was going home with my parents for two weeks. I was very excited to go home it had been a year since I had been home but unfortunantly Joel wasn't going to be able to come with me. It was so sad to tell him bye. Two weeks seemed like so long!!! On the way back to Oregon we got to stop by in Idaho and see Jason and his family. The kids had gotten so big it was really fun to get to see everyone again.

I had a wonderful time at home with mom and dad. Mom and I just had so much fun the first thing we did was go buy some baby girl clothes...we just couldn't help ourselves we were so excited. We also visited Joann's fabric store everyday. We were sewing and quilting away!!! We even made our very first rag quilt together. It was so fun and we enjoyed every min. of it. I couldn't believe how fast the two weeks went by!!! I needed a few more weeks!!! It is so hard to live so far away from them. Being home was awesome and I will always be so glad i got to go home. I don't know when i will ever get that chance to be with just them again. I really appreciate everything they do for us.

Joel picked me up at the airport in Vegas. It was really really good to get to see you eachother!! We had missed eachother! We decided since we were going to be in Vegas we might as well celebrate our two year anniversary! It was only a couple weeks away. We stayed at the Golden Nugget!!! It was really fun to just spend time with eachother. We just celebrated our real two year anniversary on Sat. I just can't believe it's been two years!!! The time really has flown by. We couldn't be happier its been a great year and i know its only going to get better especially with our little baby girl on the way. I have a wonderful husband who loves me and treats me like a princess. A fairytale dream truly come true :)
I only have a few pics from vegas i didn't carry my camara around with me when we went places it was easier so i have some on my phone but they didnt turn out the best so for now im only going to post the one.

hunting/jeepin!

Well at last the deer hunt came!!! And we were quite excited to go!!! Sat. morning we got up before the sun and went up Hatch mountain. We took our jeep and Scot brought his. Jaycen and his cute little boys Trent and Casey got to come too! The little boys were so excited you would have thought it was Christmas! We drove around Hatch mountain for a few hours but we just weren't having any luck! There were people everywhere so we decided to go try somewhere else this year which i was totally stoked about!!! So we went to this place that I had never been to, its called Purgatory! Down by kanab area and kinda close to Zions! Oh it was just gorgeous down there!!! We had so much fun just jeeping!!! It was quite muddy and we got a little wet. We saw lots of deer tracks and saw a few doe's but unfortuntly no Bucks.... But there still is a few days left of the hunt so hopefully we can find time in this busy week to get out again.
My cute hubby. His hat was the funniest thing he just cracks me up :)
Beautiful Sunrise :)
It was so muddy out getting to Purgatory so we got just a little stuck!
For a little bit I felt like i was on the show IRT Deadliest Roads!!!
Grandpa, Trent and Casey!

Casey!!! he looked so cute in his Orange!

Trent!!! he was such a big helper keeping his eyes open for any deer! :)

I hope we can go back to this place in the summer and go camping. It was absolutly gorgeous and the whole ride was a blast!!!
